Oh Ten this fic is so beautiful, having recovered my breathing from the 2 Spikes and Angel chapter I found this story not to be just some sordid slash but a very loving and poetic masterpiece. The vampire family and their loyal and loving bonds is why I like the Babyverse so much. I also have to say that chapter 7 was one of the finest pieces I've ever read.
PS. has something happend to your reviews because I'm sure I reviewed this before but it seems to have dissapeared along with others.

So here we go from the realms of exploration and initiation into comfort and domesticity, a bonding of spirit and heart as well as flesh. And very nicely done. I love just the idea of the TV and the hot tub in the bathroom together.
One thing: Spike came UP out of the water with his hair still curly? Man, he must be dipping into Angel's case of hair-care supplies. And OOOHHH aren't you sneaky, leaving such a cliffhanger!! I luv it!
Favorite phrase here: "meeting him gasp for groan." Quite inventive use of language.

Hmm. I like that you never turn this into just a carousel of body parts, hands and pricks and puckers and mouths dancing around. It'd be easy to degenerate into that. But you keep the narration in Wes' mind from the beginning, and when that starts to slip away you allow the music to take up the rhythm. Wes' thoughts about being included in this orgy are interesting, and provide a sub-text of some predatory homosexual majority that grants passage to new candidates. It establishes in the reader's mind that this is "the norm," when in fact slash usually exists on the outer edges. It's an elegant and intelligent way to grab the reader's favor and reassure everyone that "it's gonna be all right; the ride'll get a little bumpy, but trust me, you'll come out the other end with a smile."
Favorite image from this chapter: oil-covered hands sliding over a couple of pricks right next to each other. As long as I don't have to imagine them as male hands I'm quite turned on by this bit.
